Jennifer Hignite │ Halloween Layout

Happy Halloween week! Since this favorite holiday of mine is so close, I thought it would be fun to share a recent Halloween layout here on the blog! Halloween and all of the photos that go along with it are some of my very favorites. This layout documents 12 years of Halloween costumes with my boys. I am a sucker for these type of layouts that combine multiple years into one! To see the progression of time and the changes of all three boys over the years, is pretty much why I scrapbook! A simple grid design makes for a cohesive balance of 12 photos. Papers and elements from the Thirty One Scrapbook kit pull the whole page together.

Jennifer is an avid scrapbooker that fell in love with scrapbooking when her oldest son was born in 2001. In 2008 when her third son was born, she fell in love with the ease and creativity of digital and never looked back! Jennifer lives in Holly Michigan, with her fiance and three boys whom keep her on the go, with a very full calendar of sports! Jennifer uses scrapbooking to capture, documenting and record the little wonders of life before they slip away.

Sabrina Poole │ Pocket Pages

My favorite way to document my family's lives is through pocket page scrapbooking. I discovered Project Life in 2009 and I have been hooked on pocket scrapbooking since. I now document our lives in digital pocket pages and I think it is such a wonderful way to look back on the blessings of everyday life.
This is Week 32 from August 2015. I used the Capture kit.

Week 37 was a week that didn't turn out as planned since we got sick. Amie's Actuality kit was the perfect choice to document this blah, meh week.

The last full week of 2015, Week 52, I documented with Believe. A soft, festive collection that let all the Christmas and December memories shine.

I started memory keeping over 10 years ago and I absolute love it. I switched to digital 4 years ago and love it. Being able to celebrate the everyday and scrap the highs, lows, ups and downs are life is the best and is so therapeutic. My favorite stories to document are the everyday ones and I also love projects like Project Life, Week in a Life and December Daily. If I'm not scrapping I can be found reading a book and trying to reach my goal of 100 books or just chasing after my two kiddos- Captain and Sunshine.

Nikki Kehr | Butterfly Layout

Hello Lovelies, today I will show you some layouts I've made with the Bloom Pocket Cards with some embroidery and butterflies out of vellum on it. For the embroidery I mixed some white yarn with golden metallic yarn. This is such a nice look and emphasizes the embroidery. I love it.
If you search alternative quotes for your layouts, then have a look at the digital cards. There are so many cute quotes you can use for it. I like to take them.

How about you? Did you like some embroidery and digital cards on your Layouts? Let me know in the comments below

See you soon

Arumrose | New Home Pages

I often scrap photos of my kids to preserve memories but this year a brand new project arrives:we have bought a new house. Such an exciting family project means a lot of photos from the way we bought the house to all the transformations made and the final result. That’s why I’ve decided to create an album dedicated to it. Here are the first two layouts:the cover and my girl’s bedroom.

Product used: 2016 March 6x8 Templates / Milk Glass elements / Nest Full kit and journaling cards

KerriAnne Phelps | 6x8 Album

These are hybrid pocket pages I made for an 8x6 Studio Calico book I am making. The order goes from the top - using It's my Party word art for the title page, and then the 6x8 template set 1 with word art from Wanderlust- opposite page uses journal cards from Blink. The next few pages using Gray Duck JC's & It's my party tag. The third page is a close up of the other side of the 4x8 insert- I cut several pp into 2 inch squares and put them in pockets - leaving some blank and a few with photos. The last two pages are using a 4x6 journal card from Milk Glass & the cork round sticker from It's my Party. My process is pretty straight forward, clean and simple. I put a sticker and/or light shadow on the word art & really like the way it looks on my photos - almost like you could reach inside and lift it off. I am loving using Amie's products for this project & so excited to keep adding to the book! Other credits: Studio Calico, Color Cast Design, Thickers alpha, Hobby Lobby.

I live in the desert SW USA, with my husband and twin boys. I have been scrapping since they were babies, starting out as a paper scrapper but
then realizing  I couldn’t keep up so I went digital several years ago.  I have sort of come full- circle and now enjoy  doing hybrid projects in
addition to a digital project life / pocket style yearly book. In my spare time I enjoy photography, cooking, gardening & reading. I am super
excited to be on Amie’s creative team!
